Chiara's Café & Pasticceria opened its doors in Port Moresby in 2025 — a family-run spot bringing real Italian recipes, fresh gelato, and warm hospitality to PNG.

Chiara's was built on a simple idea — that Port Moresby deserved real Italian cooking, made the traditional way, without shortcuts. From wood-fired pizza to hand-made pasta and daily gelato, every dish on our menu is made fresh, using recipes passed down through generations.
We're proudly home-grown, PNG's newest Italian café & pasticceria — pairing authentic recipes and quality ingredients with the warmth and hospitality our community knows us for.
